About Ideal Electric
Central Maine's Electrical Contractor
Licensed, insured, and built on a reputation for doing the job right — every time.
Our Story
Serving Central Maine Since 1994
Ideal Electric, Inc. was founded in 1994 with a simple mission: deliver expert electrical work with the professionalism and integrity that central Maine homeowners and businesses deserve. What started as a small operation has grown into a full-service electrical contractor serving residential, commercial, and industrial customers across the region.
For over 30 years, we've built our reputation one job at a time — showing up on schedule, communicating clearly, and standing behind our work. Our customers come back to us because they know the job will be done right the first time, to code, and without surprises.
Today, Ideal Electric handles everything from service panel upgrades and new construction wiring to home standby generator installations and ductless heat pump systems. Whatever the project, you'll get the same commitment to quality that has defined us since day one.
